Day 11 Ottawa - Montreal
Today started off really healthy with a breakfast filled with fruits and veggies and even yogurt. It then went all downhill from there; poutine, chips, chocolate, amazing home cooking, there was no stopping the crew today from filling their bellies. Thank you to everyone at the Sears location for your amazing support and food!
The riders loved riding into the store today, the most nosiest welcome ever! We had such a blast.
I didn’t get to post about Toronto so i’ll say a few words about that first before I go on.
- Not only was it amazing seeing my family, but my Grandma showed up and surprised me. I almost cried ( well I did ;) I even got to see my baby (bunny) Toby, who i’ve been missing for forever! One more week till i get to see all of you again…
- After seeing my family and watching groups 1 and 2 ride in from separate locations in ontario in under 1 minute of each other was amazing as well! Sent chills down my spine! We then cycled out and headed to Dundas Square in Toronto to watch the lighting of the CN Tower (gold for child cancer awareness month) We were greeted with such amazing hospitality and really put in perspective how much we’ve accomplished in this short amount of time. Toronto was deff a highlight! Can’t wait for next yr.
Now back to today: We cycled close to the St. Laurent river - WHICH was amazing and beautiful! Couldn’t have asked for a better day too, very comfortable for the riders to ride in. Great pictures to follow!
Tonight I was having troubles with my internet stick, but my transformers quickly taught me how to share internet with our tablets - THANK YOU… complete life savors
I’m heading to bed early tonight… aparantly our wake up call is at 5:30 am!! CRAZYNESS!!! I don’t even know where we will be ended up tomorrow, but now that i have some good contection - i might be able to upload and talk more often. (if only I knew about this earlier!!! oh man)
Anyways i’ll stop rambling. Thank you to everyone who came out with support us. We will always remember this day in our hearts.
Tomorrow we ride…. (and i’ll capture every moment of it)
